NIDEC SANKYO's metal processing technology has advanced to the nanometer (one billionth of a meter) level, and we are working to refine this processing precision even further. One example of our success is the ability to process ultra-precision molds to within an accuracy of ±3nm during cutting. Nanometer level processing is currently used in the production of a wide variety of ultra-precision molds, benefiting customers by increasing productivity with greater precision and yields.
