| From the perspective of fair disclosure of financial information, Nidec Sankyo sets a "quiet period" after each fiscal quarter, during which Nidec Sankyo refrains from providing information concerning its financial condition. The "quiet period" runs from the close of each fiscal quarter until Nidec Sankyo's quarterly results announcement. In the event, however, that actual results for a given fiscal period are expected to substantially differ from Nidec Sankyo's prior forecasts, Nidec Sankyo may disclose such information as material information even during the "quiet period." |
